In an interview Dr Friesen was asked about the profitability of car parks in the current inflationary phase.

In the latest edition of Parking trend international, with 17,500 readers the leading trade journal for parking in Europe, he also provided information on what car park operators can do in the current situation to optimize their revenues.

Dr. Friesen spoke at the Competence Forum Parking 2022: Sustainability – what’s in for the parking industry?

EU taxonomy, SFDR, GEIG, GEG, WEMoG etc. – during his presentation at the Competence Forum Parking in Würzburg (Germany) on November 29, 2022 Dr. Friesen touched on what is in for the parking industry in terms of sustainability and how to deal with today.

Focus of his presentation was the effect of EU decarbonization and sustainability goals on the parking industry, increased requirements of real estate investors and property owners with regard to ESG criteria, the importance of national sustainability regulations for new and existing properties as well as “use cases” on sustainability driven by digitization, mobility hubs and e-charging infrastructure.
