Once a year international aviation experts from industry, science and politics meet at the European Aviation Conference (EAC). For the eighth time now, the EAC will take place in Vienna on November 6-8, 2019 at the invitation of the Austrian Aviation Association (ÖLFV). The topic of this year’s conference will be “Pricing in Aviation: Issues and Innovations – Are prices too high, too low or just right?”.
Dr. Friesen has been invited to attend a panel discussion together with Luigi Battuello, Romano Pagliari and Walter Seib on the second day of the conference. The future importance and role of non-aviation revenues for airports will be discussed.

At the invitation of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences Dr. Friesen will give a lecture on “Behavioral, Dynamic or Personalized Pricing – What can airlines learn from other industries?“ on November 13, 2019.

Dr. Friesen will give a speech on the future of parking at The Future of Transportation World Conference 2019, which will take place in Vienna on December 10/11, 2019. The Future of Transportation World Conference is a world-leading conference on future mobility trends. This year’s theme will be “Do or Die”. The need for disruptive mobility innovations will be addressed: Autonomous driving, car sharing or mobility-as-a-service. Presentations will be given by start-ups, law firms, OEMs and business consultants.
