QUINTA Consulting and the KODIS research center of Fraunhofer IAO in Heilbronn are combining their expertise in a joint research cooperation to develop an AI-driven dynamic price management system for parking facilities. The goal is to determine optimal price points through intelligent algorithms that take into account both customer willingness-to-pay and occupancy rates at high-traffic locations.
By utilizing artificial intelligence, seasonal demand fluctuations will be precisely analyzed and predicted, enabling flexible real-time price adjustments. The developed model will be implemented as a software demonstrator and tested under real-world conditions.

“With the integration of AI into the price management of parking facilities, we are opening up entirely new possibilities for increasing the economic, operational, and ecological efficiency of car park management,” explains Dr. Friesen, Managing Partner of QUINTA Consulting. “Our partnership with Fraunhofer IAO allows us to directly translate the latest research findings into practice, thereby creating real added value for our customers.”

Dr. Bienzeisler from the KODIS research center also emphasizes the importance of the cooperation: “By employing intelligent algorithms, dynamic pricing models can be realized that enhance both profitability and customer satisfaction. We look forward to developing innovative solutions for forward-looking car park management together with QUINTA Consulting.”

With this cooperation, QUINTA Consulting and applied research are making an important contribution to the digitization and efficiency enhancement in the urban mobility environment.
