On September 18, 2025, Dr. Friesen (Managing Partner, QUINTA Consulting) and Dr. Bienzeisler (Director, Fraunhofer IAO) will host a forward-looking workshop as part of the 21st European Parking Conference & Exhibition. The focus: the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping pricing strategies in parking management – a key topic for smart and sustainable mobility worldwide.
The workshop will open the floor to fresh perspectives: What kind of data is needed for intelligent pricing optimization in parking? Which AI models actually work – and which don’t? And how can we lay the groundwork today for fair, flexible, and self-learning pricing systems in tomorrow’s parking landscape that take a wide range of parameters into account?
QUINTA Consulting is supporting this year’s European Parking Conference & Exhibition as a workshop sponsor and thought leader. Dr. Friesen explains: “Artificial intelligence is more than just a tool – it’s a gateway to entirely new solutions in urban mobility. Our goal is to help shape this future – analytically, ambitiously, and in close collaboration with top experts from across Europe.”
The European Parking Conference & Exhibition is organized every two years by the European Parking Association (EPA) and will take place this year from September 17 to 18, 2025, in Brussels – serving as an international meeting point for professionals from politics, business, and academia who are committed to driving change in parking management for more sustainable mobility in Europe.
