Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a key driver in the parking and mobility sector. Dr. Friesen, Managing Partner and member of the European Parking Association (EPA), moderated the EPA Parking Day session on “AI in Mobility and Parking” at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026.

Together with international industry representatives, the session explored concrete use cases, challenges, and perspectives for AI in mobility and parking. Key insights included:

  • Around 40% of the industry is not yet using AI, indicating significant untapped potential.
  • Pricing and revenue management are among the most important use cases.
  • Key challenges relate to data quality, IT structures, governance, and capabilities.

In addition to moderating the session, QUINTA Consulting used the event to engage with numerous international clients and business partners.

With more than 30,000 trade visitors from over 145 countries, Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 once again confirms its role as the leading international trade fair for the industry.
